Dr Tom Berry

It was my privilege to become acquainted with Dr Jean Marc’s father, Pastor Louis Desire`in 1980. He was a humble, dedicated and effective minister to the Haitian people, and highly respected by the members of the church of which I was pastor. Dr Jean Marc Desire was ordained at Baptist Bible Church in Elkton, Maryland on March 12, 1988. I was the senior Pastor. There were several pastors from Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey that sat on his council. They fully questioned him on doctrine and ministry and authorized the church to proceed with his ordination. In 1989, Dr Desire returned to Haiti, took over the ministry of his late father. He has served there in Christian ministry and planted other churches.God greatly blessed this endeavor as hundreds received Christ as Savior, were baptized and joined the church. Ministries were raised up to meet the demanding spiritual and physical needs of the Haitian people. Dr Jean Marc Desire has been an anchor to the Haitian people. He is a leader among the pastors and of the churches where he serves . He has my strongest recommendation .
